i got out of the hospital a day early and i have some questions......

my feet are extremely swollen, i have little hot dog toes, is this normal?? my feet didnt even swell this much while i was pregnant, and i don't remember them swelling like this with my other c-sections.  Also i got staples this time around, i get them out next Friday, any one have these and have a good story about them being removed, all i have heard is horror stories.

Mine didnt hurt at all when they removed them u could feel a little tug but nothing painful and im not sure about the swelling i didnt swell with eaither of my 2

If you had a lot of IV fluids, it's normal. You will eventually pee it all out but if you are u comfortable you should ask the doc, he could give you pointers to speed it up.

not sure about the staples. but my feet were huge after surgury from the iv fluids it went away after about 4-5days

We found out that I was retaining a ton of fluid and I was on bed rest with my feet up

I only had my staples in for three days (got them Monday at the c-section and they were taken out thursday when i was discharged) but I also had 3 layers of stitches inside. I think each person is different but I didn't feel any but the first one, and it was just a small pinch (when it was taken out).

idk about the feet but i had staples and it kinda tickled when i got them removed, i barely felt anything i think maybe one was hard to get out and it just pinched but it wasnt bad at all.

yea, the staples i was so worried about, didnt even feel it except for 2... still have problems in that area that feel like im burning
