My name is Amanda, 22..... Married to Michael, mama to Logan-Michael(6 mo)...... from NY.

I had a csection this past may. I delivered as soon as my sons lungs were ok(vie amnio) due to chronic cholecystyitis (sp?) -which is a fancy word for needing my gallbladder removed lol. I was on bed rest for 4 months leading up to the birth bc my son only sat on the right side and poked and prodded at it and it hurt like all hell lol.

The surgery went well, scary going in, but a big relief coming out obviously with a baby n all. and logan seems to be doing great developmentally, physically. He was 6 lbs. coming out, and he's now 17-18 lbs. So he definitely caught up. :)

And that's me!

wow sounds like u had one hell of a time. Im glad everything turned out ok. I would go crazy if i had to be on bed rest for that long. I had my 2nd baby this past June with a c section. I was scared shitless, had to get one because my BP was reallly high. My son was 7lbs 5oz..hes getting big, about the same as ur son!

Oh was it awful, there is nothing like bed rest when pregnant- you feel like the baby's never gonna come and time passes soooo slowly!!!!!!!!!!
