My son trevor is getting one of his poems in a book! He entered a poetry contest at school and they are going to publish his poem in a book! I am so proud of him.. He is such an amazing kid.

Ok, here is his poem.. He doesn't believe a poem has to ryme and i guess the judges agreed.
MY LIFE
My life has been an uphill climb,
up a very steep, very cold mountain.
I've sometimes sidetracked,
and strayed to far.
but ive gotten back on track.
There have been avalanches
where I am completely buried.
but I dig my way out and slide down a ways
but I always manage to find my way up.
and when I finally make it to the top,
I plan on staying there.
