I've been reading a lot of tips & some ppl are talking about the E Ride at Magic Kingdom. I have no idea what this is. Can someone help please?
OOO! So, it's all the rides we won't be doing since we're bringing our 2 year old lol. Thanks for the help!
Quoting matofour:
its a big ride, splash mountain, space mountain
back when disney first opened the rides took tickets, you needed so many tickets for an e ride, so many for an a ride
although, I don't know what letters they used for sure when it first opened
you can do babyswap, I know it means riding alone. But, you can send one person through the line, get a baby swap, and the next person usually goes through the fastpass line.
Plus, splash mountain has a cute little kids area at the exit of the ride, great for a 2 year old to blow off some steam!

Back when Disney 1st open you got a booklet of tickets...one was for general admission into the park and then there were a couple A's B's C's D's and E's.....E's were usually the BEST rides HOWEVER C's were GOOD RIDES too!!!! I think we went thru our C's the fastest....So when you hear people talking about that was an E ride ticket (which they tend to do in X game sports) they are talking about the THRILL factor
You might be able to google and see what the tickets looked like and what rides were assoc with each letter...I can just kick myself for throwing mine out.....GRRRRR!
And in all honesty...I think Space Mountain might had been a C ticket (if not an E) And they didn't have Splash Mountain when the 'tickets' were around.
***If you are giong to Disney World...they have a Barnstormer coaster and they kid can get a card saying they were on their 1st Roller Coaster.
Definitely take advantage of the Baby Swap passes! My hubby and I are also taking our 2 year old and we LOVE thrill rides, so we will be using those for all we are worth! lol
We talked about it but I don't think we want to ride things by ourselves. We'll be missing out on a lot but, like I told him, our honeymoon at Disney World was for us & now this vacation to d.w. is for Tyler lol. Once he gets older & can ride the e rides w/ us, we'll do d.w. again & we'll all enjoy the same rides.

Yep, so there use to be ticket booklets you would buy. E tickets were for the top attractions - Pirates of the Carb., Jungle Cruise, Country Bear Jamboree, The Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents, It's a Small World, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Space Mountain. I still have a booklet left so that is why I know. The booklet has A-E tickets. A tickets were for things like riding the main street vechicles, etc.
How do you get a baby swap pass? We are going down there on May 30th and we may need one of those, so we can both ride with out other kids. Mainly water rides, cause my hubby is a coaster chicken, or any good thrill ride for that matter...lol.
