Are most people here using this diet due to celiac disease?
I have read it may help resolve ADHD. Anyone else here trying it for that reason?
We are gluten free beacuse my hubby was tested and is sensitive to wheat and gluten. Easiet to have us all eating the same things.
I have heard of moms doing gluten free with their children for ADHD and Autism. Hope our group can help you!
Raises hand...Celiac Disease here! I am the only one in my household. Hubbie and daughter are glutenous. haha

About a year after our son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes we found out he has Celiac as well. He turned 3 in December and is such a little trooper. I'm glad he isn't a picky eater because its making this process a lot easier :o)
I found out I had celiac disease so I started the diet at the beginning of Feb... but the more I read the more I began to suspect my 9 yr old also had the disease (he has alot of the symptoms) Hes been on the diet two weeks now and the teacher said that already shes noticed a change in his behavior at school... she said he is less emotional and a little more relaxed... while he doesnt have ADD or ADHD or anything it does seem to have helped his behavior.... I hope that helps a little
My husband and I are are both gluten intolerant. We have not been tested for Celiac disease but I suspect I might have it. Hubby I think may just not handle wheat well. I have the whole family on a gluten free diet since if Mom and Dad are eating it the kiddles will to by default!
Most of my husbands family has celiac disease. My kids show alot of the symptoms. My oldest son also has Asperger's Syndrome and my youngest ADHD. We just started the diet about 2 weeks ago so we are not sure yet if it benefits the AS or ADHD. We are hoping it benefits both. Will keep you posted as we move further along in the diet as the toxins move out of their systems.
