Cost of wedding planner?

There are planners, like myself, who will handle any event regardless of size or budget. 

One thing to take into consideration is that a good wedding planner can often help save you money by negotiating vendor contracts so his/her fee can easily be recouped by her being able to save you money in other places.

Every planner charges differently and it usually depends on the amount of help you need.  If you really want to save money but think you need the help, try looking around college campuses in your area for people who are just breaking into the business (they are usually PR majors) or ask around at your church, there's always someone who's good at planning events at churches.  These people might not charge you at all or might charge a greatly reduced fee.
