by RFW on Aug. 29, 2008 at 4:50 PMdepends on the kid....I would use your judgement.....he would need to super supervised and wash hands good after.... I wouldn't have a problem w/ my almost 19 month doing it.....she bit a crayon the other day for fun so there is that issue

by Nicki87 on Aug. 29, 2008 at 10:04 PMKylor has been playing with it awhile. At first he didn't like the texture and wouldn't even really touch it, then he tried to eat it but after a few tries he stopped. He plays with it just fine now, he even rolls it into a "snake" and makes the "ssss" sound. I say let him play with it & see how he does!
The first time he played with it: And recently:

by yezay on Aug. 29, 2008 at 10:12 PMYou can see that there's such a difference between those 2 times. He even looks older, like a big boy. Owen hates the feel of it and cries when I try to make him touch it lol. Quoting Nicki87: |

by BlueOne39 on Aug. 29, 2008 at 10:19 PMMy son plays with it, has been this summer, although he's not *great* at it. He imitates what I do -- rolling it out, punching it, smashing it. But he enjoys it. |

by rjdal438 on Aug. 30, 2008 at 9:03 AMMeah plays with Playdoh everyday! Like the others she can't make things but she likes the texture and imitates what I do with it. Some of the cans stack and she enjoys putting the playdoh in (you have to help with the covers) and then stack the cans! Playdoh is nontoxic so I'm not concerned if she swallows a bit, although we don't encourage it. If you go to their website you can find information on the ingredients and how to clean it from a rug! HAVE FUN! |

by sweetleanne on Aug. 30, 2008 at 1:30 PMI make my own playdoh. There's alot of recipes online and I try different ones to mix it up. Then while we play she will snack on it . This helps me to get some extra healthy calories in her . |
