Hi everyone!
My name is Val, I just starting selling my baby slings at craft fairs... and I'm here for awesome ideas on how to make my business better in the vending world :)
There is actually a farmers market a couple blocks away from my house every year... and I get all the fresh fruits and veggies from it for every meal!

Hi there, my name is Michelle. I'm interested in perhaps joining our local farmer's market this year and thought this group would be helpful. My Dad is the one that actually has the garden b/c I just moved into a new house and don't have the land prepped yet (I live in the desert).
I live on a remote ranch and I'm a stay at home mom to 2 toddlers and married to a ranch foreman. We have a local market but its an hour away and just starting up. I'm hoping to learn how to make it profitable to drive that far with outrageous gas prices. Thanks for having me!

Hey,
My name's Traci and I love being a vendor at Farmer's Markets.
I design and sew handbags that are super fun. I also sell babyslings, pillows with removeable and wahsable covers.
I recently moved from Gainesville where I attended the Union Street Farmer's Market and the Haile Plantation Farmer's Market weekly. I have since relocated to Houston, Texas where I will begin attending the mid-town Farmer's Market soon. Yay!

I'm Susan and I've been working to start a jewelry business -- in a market that's pretty well saturated.... crazy, huh? But I'm seriously enjoying the creativity! I've done several small craft shows over the past year and a half and this winter, I've been selling at a flea market (it's a very clean, higher quality flea market with lots of vendors selling new and handmade goods). My goal for the past couple months has been to upgrade my displays and expand my supplies -- I only have a couple more touches to add to my display and I will be ready to take on some more elaborate (juried) craft shows.
I haven't sold at a farm market yet, although I'm open to it and may have the opportunity this summer (moving to WI in May -- they have a couple farms there!!). I love shopping at farm markets!
I have a shop online too -- check me out!

Hi!
My name is Julie. I live in Hesperia, California. We're in Southern California, about 75 miles from Los Angeles, as a raven flies, over the San Gabriel Mountains, in the Mojave Desert.
I'm working on starting a farmers' market here in Hesperia. We hope to open in the Fall and operate year round. The market will also feature crafts, handmade by the seller, food vendors and local performers. We will also give free space to local nonprofits, such as 4-H and boyscouts.
I hope this group can provide me with insight and advice on what works and what doesn't work for them. I especially want to provide opportunities for mothers who want to stay home with their kids. I stayed home with mine and it wasn't easy. I think it ought to be easier.
