i had posted in the newcomers forum and didnt get anything. so figured i would try again. i am in need of lots of encouragement. usually im the one everyone comes to to get advice or encouragement when lifes got them down, but lately i cant take much more. i try to better my self and change myself to be a better person or whatever and seems as if more goes wrong. (more references in my other post). i feel like such a failure now days. i feel like im stuck in a hole and everytime i try to get out of it i get pushed down further. i feel sometimes that im going to have a nervous break down, so much has been on me lately that last night the computer had a virus and i broke down, my husband kept telling me to calm down and quit crying( he was mad about another situation at the time so he didnt handle this as carefully as he could have if i might add). i just dont know wat to do anymore. is there anyone who can offer me some support and encouragement out there? anyone from ky? lexington maybe.
Sorry to say I am not from Kentucky, but I understand how you are feeling. There is a lot of encouraging people, and groups here so I hope you find your niche and some relief.
First I can say read some of information in the group to see what feels soothing to your aching spirit. Don't lose hope. A source of comfort for me is the Psalms, find one that helps you and spend time reading it and meditating each day.
You may want to speak with someone who can help you sort things out if you're so bogged down that you aren't sure how to feel better.
Let us know how you are doing from time to time.

Hello, I see you posted this last month so I do hope your situation is better. I know how you feel, been there at times in my life. First of all I find soothing comfort reading Psalms 23 often. Take some time for yourself and go for long walks, this does wonders! Don't lose hope,

Being positive is not always easy when you feel the world on your shoulders. So for me, I like to write things out in my journal when i'm feeling upset, sad or negetive. Just getting it out on paper so it's outta my head. Also coming to CM really does help. I joined the group "Meditations for Moms" It's encouraging to meditate and get yourself centered. Not letting the negetive things get in the way of your life. Just breathe.

im doing much better, still struggle everyday, mostly with body issues and deppression. but on a better note i am starting school the end of next month!! i have been sellign stuff the lil ones cant wear or use anymore to get the money together for the $177 outta pocket application fee. things are still popping up making bad days but i try to find something to do to drown them out. im not saying life is just peachy now, just some things are goin better finally!!
I am sorry to hear about your having a hard time. First off you are not alone there are alot of people going thru emotional turmoil now - I know that is not all that comforting right now, but sometimes it can be comforting to know you are not alone, I also know that it does help to talk about it, maybe things can not always be "solved" but to get it off you mind,your heart and off your soul can help too - do you have any close girlfriends that you can talk and confide in? I am a firm believer on getting a "professional" to talk with ( it does not mean you are crazy, quite the contrary) it only means that you are smart enough and care enough about yourself that you will will do whatever it takes to pick yourself up and get feeling better - that's it.
I am not a professional and in no way am I trained to professionally help but I can tell you that these feelings that you are having Need and must be addressed and talked about or they will only get worse! I keep a journal that I write down feelings good and bad - that helps me just to get it out of me ( works for me, might help you??) I can tell you that it can get better, but the only one that can do that for you is YOU. You have to care enough and love yourself enough to make it better. I am guessing that these feelings and emotions have not always been with you correct? Well that is GREAT NEWS - think about it - that means that they can change back to what they use to be! We really can not give you any quick solution or maybe not any solution that can only come from you - but we can sure give you all the support and a huge cheer leading section for you to get feeling better about you and smiling!!

I have been to proffesionals in the past. i was in a hospital for a week for deppression,anxiety,belemia,and self harm. then to see a proffessional again when i had my first son because i had ppd, os i know the whole proffesional deal. i dotn have close girlfrends anymore, they are all younger than me not married and no kids.
