Hershey's Kiss Peanut Blossoms
There's quite a few ingredients..but, they are soooo good!

1/2 C shortening
3/4 C creamy peanut butter
1/3 C sugar
1/3 C brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
11/2 C all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
additional sugar
13/4 C Hershey kisses
 
Heat oven to 375.  In large bowl, beat shortening and peanut butter until well blended.  Add sugar and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to peanut butter mixture, beating until well blended. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 min. or until lightly browned. Immediately place a KISS on top of each cookie..pressing down slightly.  Makes about 4 doz.
