Not my recipe - I stole it - But I'm going to try it!

Southern Pecan Pie
3 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
3/4cupdark corn syrup(you can use light corn syrup)
1/2 cup melted butter
1tsp.vanilla extract
1&1/2 cup chopped or halved pecans
unbaked deep dish pie shell
 dash salt

Beat eggs till fluffy, add sugar, salt,&syrup, mix well.Add butter and vanilla.Beat well.

Put pecans in the bottom of pie shell, pour mixture over pecans.Bake at 400for 10 min. then reduce oven temp, to 325 for 35 min.

#note-I always bake towards the lower half of the oven or the pie crust will burn around the top!

Chellise

I love this pie!  It's the recipe that I use to make mine.  It's sooooo good!  I also have added a cup of chocolate chips and a 1/4 cup of bourbon to it too...it's really good both ways!
