Pretzel Turtles:
40 small pretzle twists (salted rold gold are best)
40 carmels (kraft)-make sure to unwrap them before hand...it goes quicker
40 pecan halves
8 or 9 oz. chocolate chips (i use half semisweet and half milk chocolate)
preheat oven to 350*. line a cookie sheet with wax paper. put pretzels in rows on paper. put one carmel on the top of each pretzel (in center). put in oven for 7 min. (just long enough to get carmels soft enough to work with). while these are in the oven, melt chocolate in microwave, stirring every 15 seconds, until completely melted. take pretzels out of oven and spoon a little chocolate over each and press a pecan half in the center of each one. make sure to press down and squish the caramel into the pretzels. let cool completely then store in a container with a tight fitting lid...if they make it that far! lol!!! enjoy!
