Sugar cookies

Sugar Cookies

2 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine (butter)
4 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Mix all ingredients together.  Roll into log.  Refrigerate overnight.  Cut into 1/4 inch slices and bake at 350 until golden.
