by chairhead28 on Oct. 10, 2008 at 12:50 PMWhat are you into? Do you have a colour theme yet? I LOVE the bedding set I got my daughter and it was retail price at $400 and I got it for $100!! I'll give you the link if you're interested. It's a 10 piece bedding set. It came with 2 valances, a crib sheet, crib skirt, decortive pillow, bumper pads, music moble, toy holder (I am using it for above her changing table to put her creams and brush and whatnot in it) and a diaper holder. It was the best $100 dollars I ever spent! It's brown and pink with stars...it's beautiful! |

I've been really disappointed with the bedding sets too...and I've looked several places. The only ones I can find that I like are on-line and way expensive! So....we decided to just pick a couple colors and put together our own room...
We chose purple, pink, and green. We got a really soft green crip bumper from Babies R Us and a cute sheet that matches and then registered for things in those colors.
I've made a few wall decorations on my own and plan to do a few more things. If you have the time, doing it on your own rather than buying a set has proved to have much more flexibility for us! And it makes it a little more personalized.
I'm new to this and don't know how to add pictures to my reply, but if you go on my page and look at the one picture I have posted, you can see my girl's name and crib behind me. That's some of what I've done so far.
p.s. have you noticed that EVERYTHING is in pink and brown? It's pretty, but def. a fad...I'd like a few more options. : )

by jonezy on Oct. 10, 2008 at 1:21 PMYou should go on ebay. Thats where i got my sons bedding set brand new (not from a person, from a store.) the brand is GEENY, 13 pieces and we got it for 71$ !! Great quality. They had so many cute girl sets, i was so jealous. They are always on there. |
