Stretch marks?

I was a fat kid so I had stretch marks a loooong time before getting pregnant. They've pretty much faded to the color of my skin and just look like scars now. I'm almost at 23 weeks now and have a good round belly but my skin hasn't stretched to where it was when I was a kid but I know it eventually will. So what does that mean for my stretch marks? Will they stay white? Will they turn red again? Will I keep the ones I have and then just get more on top of those?

Anyone else had stretch marks before getting pregnant?

	by hedtrippe on Oct. 10, 2008 at 8:39 PM i was overweight as a teen and didnt get new marks when pregnant or did they get red again I'm a married to military but hate the army, natural birthing, breast feeding, co-sleeping, vaccinating, , montissori schooling, cloth diapering kinda mom. 	by 4LanasLuv on Oct. 10, 2008 at 8:41 PM i got MAJOR stretch marks with my daughter and they started to fade a little when i got preggo with my son (this pregnancy) and they havnt come back i have noticed some have gotten a little longer but thats it they havnt gotten more red or ne thing......... my doc said my stretch marks would just come back but not get worse...... i hope this help
	by HotAZMama on Oct. 10, 2008 at 8:46 PM Everyone has different skin, so it's hard to tell. But with my first pregnancy I got little un-noticable ones that faded back with my skin and I also had a scar from childhood that was barely noticable. Well with my second baby, with previous strech marks got bigger and my scar got very noticable, looked like it had just happened, I was bummed out...but what could I do? I tried all of the lotions and they just prevented new little ones from appearing on top of my belly. I think you may be able to see my scar in this picture, but the strech marks are way low....but you can still kindda see em on my right side, and this is baby #3 at 5 mths.

	by AmelieH on Oct. 10, 2008 at 8:52 PM i did, becuase i was bigger in high school. mine haven't come back, but I have new ones on my hips and belly. I hate it. I feel so ugly. I really hope for your sake they do not come back
	by montrese89 on Oct. 10, 2008 at 9:17 PM Stretch marks are pretty much genetic...at least that what I was told...I had stretch marks on my hips and sides b4 i got pregnant b/c I have always had wide hips and a big butt...lol...now I have them on my belly and they are soooooooooooooo ugly!! I hate em!!
