MY first preganancy I was sick often and Thanksgiving was the first meal that I could not only eat but really stuff my face. Everyone laughed at me, but it was so good and I was just happy I could eat at all let alone a lot. This pregnancy is very similar in terms of eating but I have faith I will be able to stuff myself again. Hmmm turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, rolls, carmalized onions in cheddar sauce, sweet n sour bacon wrapped waternut chestnuts, pumkin pie and rolls. The question is more like what am I not looking forward too.
I'm thankful for so much this year. Mine and my families health I am always thanksul for. For many families this recession has been very though and our family isn't exempt from that hardship. I'm thankful that through this very hard time my husband and I have been able to keep it togather and communiate well not letting finances effect our relationship. I'm thankful even will the constant layoff of my husband we have found a way to work togather and not loose our house and everything we have worked so hard for. I'm thankful for this little blessing I'm carrying and the happiness it brings my daughter.
i cant wait for the candy yams yummy
i am thankful for my family and that we are going to have another baby and my kids are healthy
The question is what can't I wait to eat. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday because any day devoted to eating is A-OK with me. It's just a great excuse that I'm pregnant so no one can tell me I'm eating to much HAHA.
As for what I'm thankful for. We will be traveling to AZ to visit family so I'm thankful that we'll all be together ( DH's family & my Aunt, Uncle, & cousin). Also, that my DH will be home this year, he was deployed the last 2 holiday seasons. That we have a happy healthy son & another son on the way. I could go on & on but those are the things that I'm the most thankful for.

I am excited for cranberry sauce. I love it!
And I'm so thankful for my God, who is big enough to number the stars and yet cares enough to form a tiny baby boy inside me. "You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." -Psalm 139:13

I can not wait to have pumpkin pie, corn pudding, turkey and gravy, and home made mashed potato's! YUM I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!
I'm very thankful for my family. We are having our first little one in April, and my mom let us move back in with her to help pay off some bills before the baby comes. She is not charging us anything. I can't wait to start "My family". I am so thankful for a healthy pregnancy so far! I'm thankful for a great church that I attend. And I'm thankful for my job, even though sometimes I don't always "love" it. ![]()
I'm so happy for you though! Your husband is finally gonna be home for the holidays and to top it off he got a new job! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm excited to try my sister's candied sweet potatoes! I also could eat a whole plate of stuffing.
I am thankful that my husband got a promotion and I am able to quit my job and stay home with my 2 girls (3 girls in March). :)
Congrats on all the wonderful things with you and your family :)
I am going to Tennessee to see my Grandma (I am from MI) and I am so excited. I am thankful that my son will get to meet his Grandma for the first time and it will be his first vacation to my favorite place. Plus we will go to my Grandpa's grave (we talk to him when we go and it will be nice to have my son there).
I can't wait for turkey, mashed potatoes and biscuits! YUM!!!!
I'm thankful that after 2 miscarriages and three years of trying, we finally have a viable pregnancy! Also, that my husband is not deployed and won't be for the next 3 1/2 years (he's just accepted a special duty assignment)! My family will be spending the holidays with us, so that's also exciting. Oh, and I'm thankful that we'll have our ultrasound before Black Friday! Bring on the sales! LOL
I'm most looking forward to seeing my little brother and having him and my mom help me prepare Thanksgiving dinner!
