I hear ppl say I hate all these ppl thinking they can just come rub my belly like it's not my personal space anymore. I'm pregnant with my 4th and for the first time ever a lady at my sons pre-school grad party did like this belly pat down thing. We sat at the same table all night and chatted a little. So she wasn't a total stranger to me but I didn't even know her name. I was offended I thought it was funny because the teacher said I was pregnant and this lady heard and ask how far I said 5 months. FYI I'm NOT showing yet. She was shocked and felt my belly.

  • I didn't answer your poll because it's complicated. obviously if I go shopping with all my kids people are kinda overwhelmed and don't come anywhere near me or my belly. LOL! If I only have the little ones they may. If I am by myself you can almost count on random strangers touching you. wierd huh!

  • Not yet with this baby. But with my son all the effin time. I got so frustrated with it. It drove me absolutely crazy. So far the only person that has even touched my belley with this one is my hubby and best friend. Hopefully I don't have that problem again because I hated it! I don't mind if its family or close friends and they ask to feel my belley. But if its anyone else then I am absolutely not ok with it and I will let them know so in the nicest way possible.

  • Most of the time it is only close friends and family but I did have one person the other day come up and she asked me what I was having and then she was touching my belly as if that would varify it, lol. It didn't bother me much at least it doesn't happen all the time.

  •  I've always had people ask " Can I touch your belly" of course by that time they already are.

  • i wont allow anyone to touch my belly other than my dh and my two ds's. i get really annoyed when total strangers want to touch my pregnant belly. that happened alot when i was pregnant with my oldest. now when i see someone putting their hand out to touch my belly, i turn and walk the other way.

  • I say "only if I can touch yours first", and that usually puts an end to it LOL

  • No one random, but just family. I was at a party last weekend for grandmom and got violated so many times before I could even stop them. One Aunt talks to the baby and not me! Someone later came up to tell me congrats and I must have look terrified b/c when she asled me what was wrong, I was like please don't touch me!

(Actually I have a T-shirt from the Young Frankenstein musical that says "Please don't touch me", I may have to start wearing it!)

  • Only one person ever touched my belly when I was pregnant with my son (besides family of course, I don't care about them) and that was a lady I worked with. I didn't  mind then because I knew her and she was kind of a friend, but when she did it I looked down and must have had a shocked look on my face because she took her had away and asked if that was okay. I told her yes and she did it again. But other than that no one has and no one will. I do exude personalbility so people usually don't even stop me and ask 10,000 questions let alone touch me. My thinking is, if I was not pregnant would I let a stranger touch my stomach? Hell no, so why should they when I am pregnant. What do they care? I guess I am just not friendly, lol.
