is everyone ready for winter yet? im not quite yet, still have some yard work to do, but my hubby the king of procastinators waits till just before the snow flies. lol we did do alot of freezing of the garden stuff. and i am getting ready to make up my pumpkin filling and apples for pies and dumplings.

I'm ready outside but not yet inside. I put all the lawn furniture away and the garden hose things like that now I need to start changing curtains for the insulated ones and washing the windows. I don't want to put up the plastic insulation yet because we still have some warm days here in MA.
blessings,

A little boasting here....I have a whole new crop of tomatoes on the vines right now, growing...not only that but my bell peppers have starting going crazy, and I have 8 new spaggetti squashes on the vine as well. This weather here in Northern Cali is crazy right now. We'll see how it goes, but I don't have the heart to start tearing out plants....I wanted to put in lettuces, and broccoli, but I have no where to put them with all the stuff still going on out there...ugh! Oh, and so NO, I am NOT ready for winter...I don't like winter. I like HEAT...being an Arizona native...I like HEAT!!!!!
Quoting thriftymom:
Just waiting for one more windy day to bring down the rest of the leaves...I'm tired of raking them...lol Then I'll be ready!
Oh, Thriftymom....I don't have even ONE tree on my property...so, NO leaves...ugh! I rent right now (IRS problems), otherwise I would have tons...happy raking. Leaves on the ground sound lovely to me right about now....I am sure that that sounds so strange to you right now, huh?
