we just found out tht our daughter has jbs she is missing just the tip of the 11 chromsome wanted to talk to other familys with jbs nobody else undersatands what it is like my daughter does not talk at all wanted to know if anybody had any advice?

My son was just diagnosed yesterday with 11q24 deletion syndrome. He just turned 13 months and within a month has really progressed. He is sitting up on his own, crawling, pulling himself up on everything and feeding himself. He only says mama and dada and lots of babble but doesn't repeat anything. We found out today that he has lots of fluid in his eardrums and needs tubes put in. Otherwise, he seems to be doing very well. I would love to talk to you to see how your daughter is doing and if you know anything about this to help me learn, Good luck and thank you for any advice.
