Pageant to benefit Local Food Bank!
(Cocoa Beach, Florida) The Miss Heart of America Pageant Program is currently accepting applications for our 2010 Central Florida's Miss Heart of America Pageant that will be held in Cocoa Beach, Florida on March 20th, 2010. Register to represent your county today! Each registered contestant will receive a rhinestone crown, official Miss Heart of America County Queen sash, state information packet and referral cards.
The Miss Heart of America Pageant is helping stomp out hunger one county at a time! Did you know that over 12.2 percent of Florida Households are "food insecure"? Meaning these families do not have enough food to eat on a daily basis. Each contestant is required to bring in 10 canned food items the day of the pageant. The one contestant that brings in the most canned food items will be awarded our Queen of Hearts title. All of the food collected will be donated to a Food Bank in Central Florida. Winners in each division will receive a rhinestone crown, monogrammed sash, prize package and $395.00 entry fee paid to the Miss Heart of America National Pageant that will be held December 4th, 2010 in Cocoa Beach, Florida where they will compete for $5,000!
