Any work at home situation, whether it's an ad or genuine review will be deleted. There are specific groups for that and if I let those be posted here it would take over the group.

If something sounds like an ad to me I will delete it. If you use ad language it will probably be deleted.

This usually means starting with a question, talking about a site you have a vested interest in, not giving a review- just stating what the site does and telling people to visit it. Or other obvious advertising ploys.

This group is for reviewing products, that includes some websites that cafemom users have found useful. So if someone gets on and posts a thread about MyPoints.com saying,

"I tried this site, it's genuine, I just go through it's links every time I shop and it accumulates point that I can trade in for gift cards of my choice to different places every however many months. I love it and wanted to let you guys know about it too!"

Thats a review.

If someone gets on and posts a thread about Mypoints.com saying,

"Do you want to earn free gift cards for your normal shopping online? Try MyPoints! www.mypoints.com"

That's advertising, whether you are meaning to are not. I will delete it, I have to draw the line somewhere, I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, just try to remember it when posting and word your post so they are reviews.

If you want to advertise something make a sig out of it.

You can see my sig for some other examples of advertising, that if posted as a thread would be deleted.

Thank You!
