I am excited my first ultra sound is in a month from todays date I am having worries that I might loose the baby before then but I know stressing about it will only make things worse. What should I do.

  • I just got my first u/s at 8 weeks and ever since then I feel so much better about the pregnancy. I'm sure everything is fine. Don't stress yourself out about something that may never happen, that was my problem. I hope everything goes well and I know its exciting to see your baby for the first time! Congrats to you mama!

  • I did mc in july, before I ever got to that first U/S...the only one I ever saw was the one they did in the ER, and there was no baby...and while it was hard to take, it also helped me to rationalize that a baby had never formed-it didn't make it ok, but i think it made it easier.
That being said, try to relax and focus your energy on growing your little bean! I'm having my 2nd U/S on Wends, and even having seen the sac 2 weeks ago, i'm still terrified!
