So, for anyone interested, I went to the Dr. yesterday because I have not had a period since 11/30/09. I had one test that sort of looked positive and then all negative. The dr said he thinks I had another miscarriage and put me on provera. I was surprised that he didn't do an U/S, but I did have all the symptoms of being pregnant and then some cramoing. I guess I will just see of the provera works and pray for AF so that I can get on with ttc. I asked him if I should start prometrium right after O rather than after my BFP, and he said that would cause me to start my period. He said that it wouldn't hurt to start taking baby aspirin if I wanted to. Thanks
PROGESTERONE would cause you to start your period right after you O???? umm, NO!! You WILL get your period if you have low progesterone levels (your ovaries aren't producing enough progesterone) or, if you get a sticky bean, you WILL miscarry again! I started using progesterone cream AS SOON as i was sure i'd O'd, and then was on progesterone from 12DPO to 14 weeks. Either you misunderstood the Dr, or you need a new one, cuz he's stupid and doesn't know how the reproductive system works!!
