 If you'd like that is. lol How did you and your SO meet? Have you known eachother since high school, did you meet years before and couldn't stand eachother only to find love down the road?

With my DH, we met in highschool. We had a rough time at first. I liked him, he liked me, but his father had just past away and he was nervous about getting close to anyone after he lost his dad. I stayed by his side, as his friend, not knowing how hard it was to lose a parent, but knowing that he was going through something life changing. So, we stayed in contact as friends, and eventually he realized that not being with me, was only making him more sad. We made our relationship 'official' (as much as it can be in high school lol) on May 19th 2004. We have had our bumps in the road and our 'breaks' here and there, but always found our way back together. We will have been together for 6 years in May :) I love John so much. I could not imagine life without him. We got married on February 23rd 2008 and had our first son on August 26th 2008. Our little Aidan John *BUG*. We have been in this together and trying for our second baby for 8 cycles. Its an emotional stressful time. Everyone here knows that. BUT We are a team. :D Its interesting though, i've said this in a few other posts already but i'm saying it one more time lol IF I get pregnant this cycle I will be due on December 17th - that's my husbands birthday!!!! So... hoping thats an omen. HAHAHA!!

I met my dh at a D&D game, yes thats dungeons and dragons...  I am not a player but the "friend" I was "seeing" at the time and my present dh are.  I worked at a tofu plant on a timy island in the puget sound and it was about 10 months after I left my ex.  Although I had fun that summer I was really drinking and smoking way too much and I needed to get away.  So on the weekends I would go over to his house because he lived in Bremerton and it was alot bigger and I didn't know everybody and they didnt know me!  yay!

So they are all gamers and when they played it would go until like 2 am, so I would watch movies.  I remember him walking in the door and thinking, hmmmm he's cute.  Come to find out later that he thought the same.  We ended up flirting like at 4 am and talking for hours!  then we walked to the store to buy groceries to make breakfast for everyone.  A couple of days later I got a call from him!  He took the friend out to dinner and talked with him to make sure the guy didnt have feelign for me.  and asked for my number.  When I got home there was a paper taped up saying he called and to call him back.  I still have that paper :)  That was a Thursday and we talked for four hours!  He got off work early the next day to catch an earlier ferry to the island to come on our first date.  We have been together ever since!  Had our first date Oct 16, 2003.  Grace born 7/21/05- married aug 27, 2007- Christopher born Oct 12, 2007

 DH and I met in 2004 in  a chat room online. He had just got to Iraq (his first tour). I actually started talking to his little brother and he said "my brother is in Iraq, do you want to talk to him?" (I was planning on joining the Army) so we talked everyday for hours at a time . . . 6 months later he went on leave and we decided to meet for the first time (he came to my home town) and we spent the most amazing 2 weeks together. After he left I found out I was pregnant! I moved in with him after he got back and we've been together ever since. Got married July 22, 2006. Life together has definately had its ups and downs but its been one hell of a ride so far. He is everything I could have ever wanted. We are a team and we always will be. He is my hero and the most incredible man in the world. I consider myself soo lucky!

My hubby and I knew each other in middle school.  I thought he was a nerd so we never really saw each other unless it was at school.  We went to separate high schools and lost touch.  well freshman year of college my best friend, her boyfriend and I were planning on having a new years eve party.  My best friend wanted to know if Carter could come and I said yeah thats ok.  I was dating somoene else at the time.  well my best friend Pandora is dating Carters best friend.  so we all got together that night and I took one look at Carter and couldn't stop sneaking peaks at him. lol.  I broke up with the guy I was seeing.  We first saw each other December 31, 2005/January 1 06.  Our first date was January 21st, 2006.  We've had our rough patches and have broken up 3 times while we were dating.  always got back together.  we have been together 4 years this past January.

One of our mutual friends that i worked with kept trying to set me up with her and her now ex husbands single friends. I was really freaked out when they told me 5 minutes before he walked in that he had a 1 1/2 year old son and that i hung with his ex with the girls before. This was end of January 1998, started officially dating February 7, 1998. Met his son about a week or so later. Got engaged July 11, 1998  day before his sons bday and party.  Married May 13, 2000 and started ttc September 2000  around my bday. Here we are 12 years later and will be married for 10 years in May. TTC and being foster to adopt parents.

 My DH and I met in his best friends (at the time) basement. My mom was best friends (at the time) with his best friends mom. (pausing so you can hopefully get that lol). Him and his best friend got into a car accident and left work early. Well his best friends girlfriend and I had stayed up the whole night before talking about random stuff and we were exhausted. So we went down in the basement where they slept and me and her took a nap. Well she was watching his puppy for him and he came in and picked him up, started to walk out and doubled back when he saw me laying in their bed. I woke up looked at him and laid right back down, lol. After that he went to jack in the box bought us lunch. after that I went back to his house and he pierced me tongue. 4 days later we consimated our relationship lol and have been together ever since. We will be together 6 years in July and married 5 years in September.

So we started talking again and by the end of the night I asked him to be my birthing coach for my DD as my ex said he did not want to be at the hospital-he said hospitals creep him out. Jon DH said he would be glad to be there for us, it was that night that I told him I thought he was my soul-mate, even though I was married... I could talk to him about anything and I just felt like I would have him as a friend for life. -Fast forward 3 months-..I went in to labor for the 4th time and the Dr decided not to try and stop it. So DD was born emergency C-section at 12:49pm February 17th at 32 1/2 weeks weighting 2 pounds 14 oz and 16 1/2 inches long with no one by my side. My ex-husband and I found out she was deaf at 2 days old and he said he did not want a disabled child it was him or our daughter. So he left the hospital and I stayed with her. My ex called DH and he came up to be with me and was there, until she was released at 6 weeks 2 days old. So I OBVIOUSLY I left my Ex-hubby and started talking with current DH, and 6 months later I moved in with him and went back to school for Medical Assisting. 18 months later we got married and still together.

I met my DH in High School.But at a friends house(age 15),didnt think twice about him plus he had a girl friend who a month late committed suicide,she was a runaway whole other story anyway,A Year or so later he becomes best friends with one on my best girl-friends (age 16).And we met again for the second time,and again he has a girlfriend which i didnt know at the time and i was just ending a relationship.We both let our friends know that we thought each other were cute he later ask for my # and i was so excited.After a couple days to a week later of I.M.ing and talking on the phone our friends had a party i was drunk made the bold first move of pretending to cross over him on the couch and stopped and sat on his lap and kissed him right in the middle of a party.We got married at 18 and 19 then had our Daughter at 19 and 20.Weve been madly in love ever since.

I first met DH (i barely recall this meeting) when I went with a GF to pick her daughter up from kindergarten...his daughter and hers were best friends and went to daycare together-he stopped by the car to chat w/ my GF, and i guess kept trying to get my attention, but I was oblivious?  :)   ....anyway, a few mos later, this GF and her BFF asked me to go to the bar w/ them-that turned into a most-weekends type of thing...GF and BFF had a huge falling out, and around this time GF "re-introduces" me to the guy who is her daughter's friend's dad...he turns out to be BFF's ex-hubby (they had bee divorced for about 4 yrs by this time)!!
We met in April '04, moved in together in june '04 (i had been in a 5yr dead-end relationship prior to this (we broke up in feb '04, so everyone figured it must be a rebound thing), had been on my own for 8 yrs and had NEVER lived with a guy before)...so his ex thinks that former BFF set DH & I up out of spite (which might be true!) but we clicked in a way that was the most natural thing in the whole world..i never even questioned moving in w/ him and his then 6 yr old (even though i had always selfishly guarded my "me" space)...he told everyone we knew that he WOULD be marrying me someday!...we found out we were pregnant Father's Day weekend '05, and got married in Oct. 05 (we eloped and didn't tell anyone)...DD was born Valentine's Day '06, we bought our first house together May '06, and had a fabulous "real" wedding on our first anniversary!
Baby #3 will be here sometime between DH's b-day at the end of june and 4th of july!

I was in the army at the time...dh was in the army too...I had only been to the unit for 2 weeks and I only knew a few people one of those people was dh's best friend...(who asked me out the same day as dh haha!!!) well we were mandated to go to "fun day" where Dick Chaney was going to come and talk to the troops....(we spent all day in the rain for a 30 min speech...bluh!!) and way dhs bff saw me there and Josh was with him and we all got to talking....after we were released I went back to my room to change and since I didn't have a car yet Josh came and got me....with a couple other people we went out to eat and then back to his house to drink and have a good time...well John....(dh bff) didn't come around til MUCH later and by then Josh had already decided that he liked me but didn't want to cock block lol...so he let John do his thing and when after a couple hours he didn't look like he was making any kind of a move Josh made his LOL...John and DH are still BEST buds and I hang out with him all the time...and I am SO glad that I  never went out with him because now that I know him longer I probably would have killed him lmbo!!
