It is an artificial sweetener. And there is a lot of back and forth about whether or not it's safe at all. If I remember right, though, it's considered the only "safe" artificial sweetener to use when pregnant. BTW... sucralose=Splenda. :)
I agree. In my opinion it's safe...but you have to decide for yourself because some people are on the other side.

I used it when I was pregnant, but don't anymore. I just stick w/ plain ol sugar. LOL. When I was pregnant, I was having issues w/ my hypoglycemia, so I was staying away from real sugar as much as possible. But now that I don't have any issues, I've gone back to it. LOL
Well my thing is that I get gd when pregnant and the first time I was still able to handle reg sugar, the 2nd time (before we lost the baby due to something else) I was having a hard time with sugar and I have been drinking the flavored water it has Sucralose in it and I was wondering if that would be safe to continue if I ever can get pregnant again.
It is considered safe by many Doctors and researchers. :)
