Luteal Phase?

What is it really and how do you determine its length? Straight forward questions lol I'd just really like to know!! :) TY *hugs*

luteal phase is calculated from the day of ovulation to the 1st day AF comes.. Normal range is 12-16 days.. If it is below 10 then there is a problem like a luteal phase defect possibly because under 10 days isn't enough time for proper implantation from what I have read. Hope that helps
