I'm on the pregnancy medicaid with my state...how soon after a miscarriage does the medicaid coverage end?

I'm still waiting for my hcg levels to drop to zero and just had a d&c type procedure today.... when do I tell medicaid that I am not pregnant anymore?

When your pregnant to term and deliver you get it up to either 6 or 8 weeks PP. So I'm assuming you'd get it for a "PP" period after a miscarriage but i'm not sure. You can call and tell them and see what they say.

They cover you for 30 days after.

Your supposed to tell them immediately but in NC you get to keep pregnancy medicaid for 6 months after a pregnancy and m/c to handle any issues that may arise from them.

in indiana the state will deny your whole medicaid when you miscarry. I've had it happen to me twice.

i think it really depends on the state i would contact them to be sure and explain that you are still waiting for your levels to drop
