I was just wondering when you take a hpt and  its positve does the color of the 2nd line mean anything ....like lighter vs darker ?

 if it still has color then a line is a line, if its a greyish/clearish line then its usually an evap. keep testing and make sure it gets darker over a few days good luck!

Absolutely not.  The purpose of an HPT is to tell you whether or not there is hcg present in your urine.  If there is, then you are pregnant.  It is not designed to tell you how pregnant you are.  The lightness/darkness of a test can vary from test to test in the same box with the same urine.  You only need to pay attention to the whether or not a second line is present; not how dark it is.
