Spotting and Confused. Need help. EDIT EDIT

Okay, ladies.  Any insight would really be helpful.

Normally my cycles last about 34 days with me Oing on day 19 or 20.  So, I started my ovulation tests on day 10 but missed a couple here and there.  Well, Friday was CD 22 and I had still not gotten a High or Peak indicated on the monitor and then I started spotting that day.  It was brown (sorry if TMI) and enough to get on my underwear but not enough to put in a tampon.  Anyway, I am still spotting today (Tuesday).  I keep thinking it stopped because it isn't constant but I am really confused because it has lasted so long.

I have read you can spot when you ovulate or when you implant but, if going by my normal schedule, it is too late for ovulation and too early for implanting.  I have NEVER spotted before.  Ever.  Even with my first pregnancy, I never spotted.  I don't really know what to think of it.

Any help?

Thanks so much for all the help.  Should I be concern that I am working on my 5th day of spotting?

Hormonal changes can cause spotting.  I never had spotting around ovulation until after I had my son 2 years ago.  I had spotting for a few months, then it stopped and now this cycle as I am approaching ovulation, I had some brownish CM.  I have read that spotting around ovulation may be caused by a rise in estrogen.  As my nurse practitioner pointed out, our bodies are always changing and hormonal fluctuations can cause your cycle to change.

I have been spotting for 2 weeks, found out friday I was pregnant. Unfortunately my blood work I had yesterday indicates I'm most likely having a miscarriage. I would test or go to your doctor if you are concerned.

Hey,

It still could have very well have been ovulation bleeding.  It could take a few days for it to make it down, which you said it was brown, so that would make perfect sense.  As long as there isn't severe pain or more bleeding, then nothing you should worry about.

Good luck!
