Does anyone have low progesterone? Are you on supplements? When do u take them during your cycle? I've read to start them 3-4 days after a + opk. True? What are symptoms of low progesterone? Thanks for any answers ladies!! Even bumps are appreciated.

I do... I was put on clomid. I finished my 4 th cycle. I went from a level of 2.5... Which is too low to conceive to a level of 27... I get tested every 21 days. I take clomid 150mg days 3 to 8 of my cycle (5 days) then I test with opk's beginning day 10. Ttc every other day from then on.. As per my specialist. Everyone is different so it varies. I also read that vitamin b6 helps with your LP... Suppose to make it longer. I take 200 mg of that daily. I got that at a natural foods store. Hope this helps and baby dust to u...

I have a low progesterone...(or a luteal phase defect)...I had the 21 day progesterone test done and it was fine...but that is not my problem...my problem is that my body doesn't produce enough progesterone long enough... So I have had some mc/s because of it...I know I have this because I do NFP and have charted my cycles for like a year and a half-- and charting showed that...my cycles are regular...but spotting for days before your period is a sign of this and that has been my problem...in the past I have taken Vitex for this problem and then as SOON as I got a hpt...I drove my self to the doc and got my prescription of progesterone...This cycle I took soy isoflavones... and I am charting my temps... I am nervous...but my doc said that taking progesterone after Ovulation can mess up your cycles/body etc.

Thanks This is helpful. I'm currently on 50 mg of clomid ...I'm starting 100 mg next month. Do you think that the clomid alone can increase progesterone??

Hmm This is interesting too. Everytime they give me the progesterone blood test 8 dpo They say oh its too low you didn't ovulate... but I'm pretty sure the $50 digital opk isn't lying!! I know without enough progesterone there isn't a healthy environment in the uterus and the egg can't implant...
