There is a slight, increased risk of multiples or higher order births when taking fertility medication.  Are you considering it?

It depends on which med. The risk increases with the severity of the meds.

When you take fertility meds they make you develop more follicals, each follicle holds an egg so if you have more than one egg released you have a greater chance of multiples. When you don't take fertility meds you generally only develop 1 mature follicle.

I just started infertility testing...if the tests don't show anything, I will start meds this month.  My dr said if I go on them I will have an increased risk of twins, but no more that that.

This is very true! It also depends on your age and how your body reacts to the meds. I have only done injectable fertility meds and the first time I only developed 1 follicle but the second time I did it I had 6 mature follicles. I still didn't get pregnant though :(
