Migraines/hypoglycemia/gestational diabetes...? (PIOG)

First of all, has anyone ever experienced gestational diabetes? If so, can you share some of your symptoms and what you did to control it during your pregnancy??

I have yet to be diagnosed with anything, but I have noticed that if I don't eat something insanely sugary (like either drink a soda or eat a cookie or whatever) I will get awful migraines. I thought they were migraines due to dehydration, but I have been keeping up with my water/fluid intake and ruled that possibility out. Tylenol will not help them, but the sugar does. Natural sugars for some reason will not (if I have a smoothie or eat a piece of fruit, it doesn't kill the migraine). I'm confused.

My next appointment isn't until June 17, and I'm not terribly worried about it now, but I will bring it up then. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or inputs! :o)
