Does clomid cause long luteal phases?

I'm on my 3rd round of clomid (100mg) and last cycle, my luteal phase was 23 days.  I can't confirm that I ovulated last cycle, though.  This cycle, I had a midcycle ultrasound and along with my other "signs", I ovulated on cd15.  I'm now on cd 30 (15 dpo) and AF is no where to be found (my luteal phase is typically 12 days, so I'm 3 days late).  I took an hpt yesterday (14 dpo) and it was negative.

Does clomid cause luteal phases to be longer than normal?

Hey,

Are you also taking progesterone supplements?  If so, that would also cause a longer luteal phase.   Mine were longer on Clomid just for that reason :)

Good luck!!!

I'm not taking progesterone, just the clomid.

I only took one round of clomid before and I got pregnant from it. Sorry I am no luck. I am starting clomid soon again.

Not my experience, even with 200 mg of prometium. Test?
