What else should I try to get pregnant???

I think AF is on her way...had some brown spotting today :( This is my 2nd cycle on 50mg clomid. I just don't know what else to try! I know I can keep taking clomid but from what I've heard you can only take for 6 cycles...what will be next? Our insurance doesn't cover fertility...just from the tests that we have had (which all came back normal - diagnosis: "unexplained") I owe $800 in medical bills. I know the further we go the more expensive the medical bills will get and we are in the process of selling our house and buying a new one so I can't rack up medical bill debt right now. Is there anything  else can I try if clomid continues to fail except IUI or IVF???

I took (50mg) Clomid for 2 cycles and. . . NOTHING. I was about to give up and my dr said we would only try 1 more cycle... Well, I didn't call to make appt to get another Rx for Clomid... Instead I decided to try soy iso... And, BAM... I am now 10w1d prego (after a loss in July 2010).

How do you take soy iso...is it a pill? Does it matter what time of month I start them? How do they help? Where do you get it?

Ask your Doc to put you on metformin along with the clomid if you want to go the medical route. I personally decided against it, (I am giving my trust to the Lord) but my OB wanted to put me on the two combined. I took just Clomid when trying to concieve my second child. And I was on it way longer then 6 cycles! Anyway the Doc said Metformin helps the clomid more effective or something like that!

Up the dosage to 100. I took 2 at 50 nothing then upped it and 2nd month on 100 I got bfp.

Instead cups? Bding less, like every other day not every day? That was the other big one for us.

Good luck

soy you take just like clomid, so many mg on cd3-7 ot 5-9. It works for some but can have badside affects for others.

It's a pill.... You can get them at Wal-Mart for $5-$8. I took 120mg on CD5-9.

What about bumping up your clomid dosage? I took 100 mg days 5-9 and got my bfp first month with Twins.

Also try the sperm meets egg method (google)

I did ask the doc about bumpig up my clomid doseage...but when I talked to the nurse she said the doc is keeping me at 50mg. I can do 4 more cycles and then she is referring me to a specialist.
