Negative HPT?

So, ok maybe this is just me, but I can't help but to be little concerned. My last menstral was 09/08/11, I took a urine dipstick test at work., then 2 First response HPTs, all negative. Now, I was taking OCPs for a while before stopping in order to conceive. Is my body re-regulating itself? Did those little pills have that much of an effect on my body to do this? Did I test too early?

OCPs?? It sounds like your just late, if you took medication it could of caused it, or it could of been caused by stress! It is also possible that you ovulated late. But if you don't track ovulation then that is hard to determine. I would test once a week until AF arrives, and if it doesn't arrive in another 2 wks then I would contact your Dr to get put on promertium to start your period. Goo dLuck!

My last menstrual cycle was 9/7 and I'm still testing negative with tons of pregnancy symptoms. I don't know what's up either. I hope it all works out for you! Good luck!!

ladyquasar,,some girls arent able to use a hpt they have to have blood work done i had it happen to a friend she tested like a tone of times n kept getting neg she went n got a blood test done and was 3 months preg..good luck to u hun :)

If you are that late your either prego or not and would show on a hpt if you were if you are one of the rare women that don't show on home hpt then you need to go have a blood draw you don't need a doctors order any health clinic that dose blood test will do one good luck
