Freaking out! HELP! *UPDATE*

UPDATE!!:

ok...so, my last appt. was last Thursday(March 1st). I'm now 28 weeks and was measuring at 35 weeks!!!(7 weeks ahead!!!) Still she doesn't seem too concerned and says it's probably just "fluff"?! Great..so, I'm fat?! Anyway..she said that they wouldn't do a growth scan until 36 weeks unless i'm measuring too big or too small. Um..hello?!! 7 weeks ahead isn't too big??!!! Freaking out even more now and it doesn't help that everyone else keeps asking if he is going to be early or if they have mentioned switching my due date(which they haven't..yet). My next appt. is the 21st..then I start going every 2 weeks! I just wish she would schedule the growth scan sooner so I can get some sort of relief!!

Hi ladies..ok so, I went for a check up yesterday(25 weeks)..and when my dr. measured my belly I was measuring 29 weeks(4 weeks ahead)!!!

Then I went for my u/s which I had 2 get done due to limited cord at my last one. Everything went fine w/that and she said baby was head down!! WHAT?!

OK..so, maybe i'm wrong..but, isn't it a little early for baby to already be head down??

I'm freaking out cuz we are nowhere near ready yet for him to be here. But, also..my husband and son will be gone the end of April for 8 days on a cruise.(I was origianlly supposed 2 go..but, then we found out I was prego). I am so afraid he is going to come while they are gone and I will be stuck w/my psycho mother in the delivery room:/

Anyone else ever been in this kind of situation???? If so..how'd it turn out?

thanks!

Baby can be head down for months still. I think mine went head down at 28 weeks. They can still flip flop around in there too :)

I know it sounds craze scary now but things point more on you being just right on track and where you are suppose to be. You can measure big throughout your pregnancy (I measure all the time throughout my pregnancies after my first), and the baby changes position all the time. They really do try to keep the baby inside you until 38 weeks unless there is a pressing medical need to have the baby out right away, which hopefully you will never had. Did they try and move your due date at all during your appointment?  If not I wouldn't try to stress to much about (I know easier said then done).

Hey,

You know, thier position at this point changes so much I wouldn't worry your socks off at all honey :/.  My son was turned the right way for almost my whole rpegnancy, and then right at 36 1/2 weeks he decided to go breech....so he can still move around in tehre as he wants to :) :).

I would be more concerned with the shortened cord, but if they don't see anything going on then you should be fine :) :).

Hang in there!
