Okay, so last month I thought I had my bfp. Had 3 very faint positive tests, decided to wait a week and test again, and the line was gone. Chemical I guess. At any rate, I'd been on Provera to start my AF and then Clomid, and my progesterone levels plummeted to 0.4. I started exercising more and lost 15 pounds, and AF came back on its own, beginning my current cycle. I'm on CD12 today. I took an OPK last night at midnight, before I went to bed, and it was very dark, but I'm not sure it's as dark as the control line. Does it look dark enough to be positive to you ladies, or should I wait another few days and keep testing? I don't think it looks dark enough, personally, but today's tests were lighter. Just took one about an hour ago...it's the last one..and much lighter. Can they get lighter and darker like that??

Thanks so much! My dr is thoroughly less than helpful, and is actually out on maternity leave right now. How ironic, right? lol

When you're a about to surge the test should look like CD11. The next day should be lighter. I checked with my doc when it happened to me.
I'm hoping so! Dh and I saw the line that day and bd'd twice, and once the day after. LOL Keeping my FX, but I'm still doing OPKs 3x a day, just to make sure i don't miss anything, until the lines get a lot lighter. They're still kind of dark, but the one I just took today about an hour ago is lighter than any since cd11.
Quoting gump:I think cd11 looks positive and the 2 from cd 12 are residual from the surge...that is why day 12 is getting lighter.
Looks like it was getting there. How much time between that one on CD 11 and the next one on CD 12? Could have been a short surge or something.
The CD11 one was at midnight, and the CD12 was at 7:00 the next morning (with FMU..I know, not supposed to do that, but I'm at work from 8-4:30, so that's the only time I can in the morning until I get home). I didn't have a temp drop or anything like that yet, so I'm going to keep testing and hope for the best. I think we missed it last month because I stopped testing and was convinced that I didn't O by CD20...then got AF on CD44, so it happened somewhere in there.

I ovulate really late also, and have missed it a few times when I wasn't temping. It can be so frustrating!
