anyone with high blood pressure?

I got diagnosed with hbp early in this pregnancy, around 16 weeks I'm almost 24 weeks now. My question is if you have had high blood pressure did your doc let you travel? Did you go full term or did they induce you early? My doc just keeps saying we will see or I don't know yet. I don't know anyone personally who has had hbp during pregnancy so any replies are appreciated.

How high is your bp? What is your normal bp?  My bp started rising around 20 weeks and I ended up having my son at 33 weeks due to HELLP syndrome. My bp was 220/170 by the time they decided they needed to take my son. But, they can put you on bp meds depending on your situation. Many of my friends dr's put them on bp meds and tehyc arried to term. I had crappy dr's. My son and I were dying by the time my doctor's delivered my son.

I am almost 20 weeks and for about 4-6 weeks I had trouble with my BP.  My numbers were not near as high as yours.  Perfect B/P is 120/80 and my was 165/85.  They were concerned with those numbers and told me no salt and no caffiene.  It is hard for me to believe that they let your numbers get so high before doing anything (You could of had a stroke!!!).  I had to come in weekly for a bp check.  Sorry you had to go through that and I would never use that doctor again!!

I had HB for the last half of my pregnancy and everything turned out fine. I would have been induced at 39 weeks but lucky for me I went into labor on my own at 38 weeks! But they just monitored me closely for Pre-e. I had to get NST's twice a week and weekly ultrasounds.
