So, my cervix is so high that I can't find it with my hands... so me, being me, went to Jake and said...

So... you know what my cervix feels like right?

blank stare yes... i touch it more than you do.

Well.... can you make sure i'm right and that's it's high and i'm not just dumb and can't find it today?

Blinks uhhh yeah... sure.

Okay, so wash your hands, and then you can stick your fingers up there...

I go and grab the lube....

He washes hands, then starts making fun of me for having him do it with me standing up.

I always check myself standing up, or semi-squatting in the shower, whatever, you get the idea. it's more accurate if he checks me in the position I check me in. LOL

So, I blush, put some lube on his fingers.... and hide my face against his chest as he snickers at me while he shoves his fingers up there... he feels around for a second then replies.

Yep. It's high, I can barely touch it. so in the future, if you can't find it, assume it's high. LOL

Then we talked about texture. I can't tell the difference in textures because I don't touch it often enough during foreplay to know how it changes on a regular basis... but he does...

so.. I was asking him questions, well if it does this, how would you describe this feeling? and if does that, what does that feel like to you, and where is it's position in there when it feels like that?

OH and do you remember when I started being extra gush-y in-comparison to my positive LH surge before I ovulated.... ^.^

he just cracks up laughing at this point and kisses me on the forehead.

hahaha he's such a good sport.  And, I'm glad I amuse him... really. LOL

LOL, that reminds me of after I had my youngest DD. I had an incision, and it came open a little (didn't hurt though...I didn't even know it until I went to clean it one day). Anyway, since it was open, the doctor said I'd have to pack it until it closed on its own, about 4 weeks.

Anywho, I had my S/O do it, since he could get a better look at it and pack it better at the time. I was laying down and he was looking and I asked "Well, how does it look?" and he was like "Nice...very nice..."

I popped my head up to look at him and he wasn't looking at my incision anyone...he was looking at my lady parts like a hungry tiger. I was like "Not that, you idiot, the incision, HELLO!" He was like "Oh huh....yeah, that looks ok too." LOL. Men.

At least your DH was a good sport about it and was able to laugh. I can only imagine how embarassed you were to even have to go through that! lol

haha, well I routinely get him to check my parts for confirmation that my "interpretation" is accurate.... I kinda like putting him on the spot like that... it makes me giggle.. he once in a blue moon will blush, even though i'm usually the one giggling and blushing.

It's kind of naughty, and well it makes the TTC stuff more "fun" if it's... funny i guess... LOL

i also like that he knows my body better than I do.

he'd know if I was pregnant, with out my having to tell him, because he takes my temps, monitors my chart, interpretes everything for me... I'm pretty blessed and lucky to have a man so involved.

Funny all the strange things we will talk  about while going through this process. Yesterday my husband said "are you gushy/sitcky yet" since I had told him that is when we needed to try.

My DH asked yesterday if we were in season still. lol  Since we are, we BD'd yesterday - and I think it quite possible I'll O today based on my CM & CP (we'll see what the temp says tomorrow!).

Emma, that's great that your DH is so in tune with what's going on with you!  My DH isn't nearly as involved with charting, I do the temping & checking of CM & CP myself (and I prefer it that way), but he is interested in what's going on and will ask questions.
