Where are you in your cycle? Are your normal temps (the 97.2-97.4) the normal pre O temps? Are the 97.9 - 98.01 post O? You do see your temps up after O, with two weeks being the standard time they are up.
Have you started any supplements or meds? Changed how you are temping (from orally to vaginally)? Either of those can cause your temps to change as well.

I hope everything goes great for you. Its better for me to visilize a chart for the temp question though.
