First, I apologize for my massive vent but I am about to blow my lid here!
Okay so, my first 2 deliveries were in a hospital, and both had their issues do to staffing and situations.
I determined 2 years ago that if I got pregnant again we would have a home birth. 1 because I don't care for a different doctor delivering becaause I didn't come in first and this doctor not even knowing me or my history (happened both times) 2. My dh has a nasty little habbit of getting ill during my delivieries due to stress from being in the hospital? Which stresses me out and then stresses baby out.
Now, we JUST found out we are pregnant, Friday! So I have talked to midwife and gotten all the info I need and such and dh goes to work and lucky enough for me his co-worker's wife is a midwife, but she is super pro hospital and she has filled his head with all these horror stories and now SHEVwants to be my midwife and deliver my baby wtf!? Freaking butt out of our business, seriously, can these people ot let me enjoy being pregnant for even a month!? She does not know our background, I have never met her and the one time I asked her a question through my hubby, she gave me the dumbest answer I ever heard. Top that off with the fact that her office and hospital are both an hour away from us, and who the heck is gonna take care of my kids and take them to and from school while me and dh and baby are an hour away!?
Please just let me live my life and go live yours.

Well, you don't have to say "yes, be my midwife!" Politly decline, and go find one for you!

find a good midwife you like who can ease the fears this crazy woman thought to put in his head. It will all work out. Congrats on being pregnant!

Aww honey :/. Hopefully someone will listen to you. I think you should interview OB's and midwives to see which ones work for your needs :P
