I got two false positive test with home pregnancy tests and then went to the doctor and they said its negative. Three months later I got another positive test for sure hoping they were wrong but the next day I got spotting... but that can be normal early in pregnancy but I dont have any other pregnancy symptoms really but went to the doctor anyways and the same result they said its just false positive and i even used the expensive name brand tests like first response and clear blue :/ this is just depressing me more...
THey happen its usually a defalt in the test its self not anything to do with the person.
if this happened more than once with good tests than they probably were chemical pregnancies... sorry :(
I don't believe in false positives, only chemical pregnancies. With a Chemical, the egg is fertlized but only implants just enough to show up on a pregnancy test. Some women get very faint positives (like me) and they never get darker. Some women get dark positives and then they get lighter. And then they get their period on time or give or take a few days. My period showed up a day early. I had 6 positive tests over the course of 4 days (including a digital) and by the afternoon of the 4th day they were coming up negative. Got my period on the 6th day.
Chemical pregnancies are VERY common and happen 50-75% of the time and the women don't even know about them. The only way to know is to test before your period is due.

Yeah and it just makes it that much more frustrating... Does anyone know why chemical pregnancies happen?
Were the tests you were using the ones with the blue dye? They are notorious for faint lines that look like positives but are actually evaporation lines.
