I'm on CD 46 and no AF just yet but I just woke up and I'm having some crampiness achiness in my tummy and hips and legs which usually for means AF is right about to start. I hope it's here so I can get testing done to figure out what's wrong with me and get a treatment plan going. What do you ladies feel like right before AF shows up?

Yay AF finally showed up lol not long after I posted the first time haha, so I'm calling my dr in 2 hours cause that's when they open and I'll schedule my appt to get my estrogen,lh and fsh levels and ultrasound :)

UPDATE: So my RE just called and said  my appt is on Monday at 8:45 and they are doing my ultrasound first then they are doing bloodwork for estrogen,lh,fsh and she also said something about metformin cause she said that's what they wanna put me on so they're doing a pre screening test, has anyone heard of that before I don't know much about it didn't know there was a test you had to do?

1 mom liked this

I get this weird "yucky" feeling in my uterus, it is hard to explain and I literally get mad about something as small as missing the trashcan when I try to throw away a tissue or something..  I only get the little bout of anger/aggravation the day I usually start.  Weird i know lol

Metformin is usually used as a type 2 diabetes drug. Maybe they want to keep an eye on your blood sugar while you're on it?

They're probably going to do a fasting glucose test... They'll take your blood... Then make you drink a sugary drink and wait 2 hours then draw your blood again.

I'm in my second cycle of metformin now.

Metformin can help make irregular cycles more regular. I'm on it too. I recommend taking it at night after dinner, if I took it any other time it gave me horrible gi upset, but taking it after dinner has given me no problems! Gl!
