Hi ladies.. according to FF I am due to O today.. I've had tons of EWCM since Monday..but still have yet to get a + OPK ( testing 2 x a day ) ..but we are BDing anyway every night.. woke up today with tons of ewcm and occasionally ill see a small streak of blood in the CM.. nothing big, no spotting..just a tiny tiny streak... could this be the big O , even thought I haven't had a + opk yet?

I would guess it is O.

How often do you test?  Once a day or more often?  It is best to test more than once a day, esp as you are getting closer to a positive, to make sure you don't miss the positive.

I test twice. Early afternoon and evening

It can also be irritation from your cervix because you're checking it. I'd say its no big deal.

I drink a lot of fluids during the day and I know that can effect and opk but how much does it REALLY effect it

I'm pregnant now but I had Spotting and blood streaked ewcm every single cycle. That's how I always knew I was gonna O soon. Supposedly it's from the sudden estrogen drop right before ovulation and it means you are very fertile at that time. Go catch that eggie :)

That's pretty normal during O time. I get it sometimes too.

My reading comprehension isn't the best this morning - I need my cappuccino! I see now that you did say how often you test.  I wonder if you should also test mid morning?  If your surge is 12 hours or shorter, you could be missing it if it starts later in the evening - although, I guess I don't know if lh surges do ever start then.

But really, your ewcm is telling you the same thing that a positive opk would.  You are fertile so should be BDing - and it sounds like you have that covered.

Good luck - I hope you catch that egg!
