So, I see a lot of you temp and I have some questions about it.
Do you have to buy a certain thermometer? Does it have to be done vaginally or by mouth - like, underarm won't do? How can I tell by my temp that I am ovulating?

Yes you have to buy a certain therm. Its a bbt therm. Generally take temps vag. Mouth will work but could be off. A thermal shift will indicate ovulation but after a .3 rise and ekevated temps for 3 days after to confirm.

I have BBT i bought from amazon.com. I vaginally temp since I'm a mouth breather.
must temp same time every day.... in bed before getting up..... having at least 3 hours consecutive sleep....
once ovulation has occured the temperature will rise due increased progestrone. Must maintain elevated temp for at least 3 days to confirm ovulation took place. GL

All of the above except I temp by mouth and have never had a problem! Tried vag one cycle though just to check.. I was just morr comfortable with orally temping you'll just have to find what's best for you. Good luck!
