Lesbian couple TTC *UPDATE* 4/11/12

Sorry I've been m.I.a guys! I've been working n tryna spend qt wit my family. Here's an update ... last time as most of y'all know me n my gf did @ home insemination, well we didn't get our bfp n she started af! BUT, we did however do another insemination on Monday which was 4/9/12...were doing another insemination on Friday which will be 4/13/12. Were not tracking ovulation or anything just kinda going wit tha flow plus wit her just getting off of af, we should be good! Will keep y'all updated n to everyone who is being supportive n cheering us on a BIG THANKS TO ALL!! XOXOXO :-)

How does that work when you aren't tracking ovulation & need to do home insemination?  Are you sure you're doing that at a good time in her cycle?  She could be ovulating at a completely different time from what you think.

I understand wanting to just go with the flow, although that doesn't work at all for my DH & I.  But it just makes me nervous that you're wasting time & money (assuming you're paying for the sperm) when you do it without tracking her ovulation.

My fiance and i did at home insemination in oct. and it worked. I am 25 weeks 4 days pregnant with our second boy. So keep faith.

Good luck! That can get mighty expensive if you're buying donor sperm and just inseming whenever, though. Sperm that has been frozen and thawed has a pretty short life, so timing is pretty important. Is there any reason you aren't even temping or doing OPKs?
