Our infertility clinic has an egg donation program. That seems like such an emotionally complicated thing to do. It would be strange to know you might have multiple genetic offspring walking around somewhere in the world, but it would be so rewarding to know you've helped someone else to have a child. If you were physically capable, do you think you could donate eggs? I think I probably could.

No I don't think I could. Even though it would be a great blessing to be able to give someone else a baby, I couldn't walk around wondering, and not being able to be called mom..

No I couldn't. They only way I.would consider my eggs for anyone else would possibly be my sister, but she's already decided that would be weird and she would adopt if she couldn't have kids. I wouldn't be OK with dh donating sperm either, it would be too.hard knowing there's a child or multiple children out there sharing our DNA, half siblings to our kids.
