Okay, first let me tell everyone a little baout myself. i'm 22yrs old. i have been married for almost 2 yrs. my husband is amazing!!! Also we have a 5yr old little girl whom is the best! My husband and i starting trying to conceive right before we got married, so we have been trying for over two years, two years and one month to be exact, however i did become pregnant right after started trying but unfortanitly** i lost the baby. Losing that baby was one of the hardest things that i have ever gone thru! anyways, we did not let that get us down about continuing to try. I have gone to doctors and specialist and they all tell me one or two things, i have one a 3% chance to concive if i do not lose weight or i have a 5% chance to concieve because i have PCOS. BUT one doctor did tell me that i have a 3-7% chance to concive because i need to lose weight but that it will be very hard for me to lose the weight because i have PCOS, so basically i have a very low chance at concieving. Now i know some people would just give up and not deal with the hurt and disappoinment every month but i just can't. I'm a stay at home mother while my husband works and provides for us, and our daughter is in preschool this year, her last year of preschool. she will be in full time school next year, so it would be a prefect time to have another child. anyways, so in order to lose this weight that my doctors are telling me to lose i have tried many many diets!!! Well today is day four of a new diet i am trying and it's working very well.....as of yesterday i was down 9lbs!!! which is great! my doctors want me to lose a minimum of 69lbs. i started off at 222lbs, then i lost a few and went down to 219lbs, and as of yesterday i am down to 210lbs. so i am working hard VERY hard to stick with this diet and lose this weight. I am 5'5" and my doctors want me to get down to atleast 155 but they would like to see me at 145. they say that once i had lost 10lbs that my chances of getting pregnant would go up a little bit, well i am down 12lbs!!! and i just started my cycle this morning. So i guess what my question is for everyone is, is there anyone out there that has had PCOS but still became pregnant? my doctors told me that the only way for my to get pregnant was if i lost all this weight because once the weight was gone then so would my PCOS be gone too!! if anyone knows or has been here please let me know.
