At home insemination???

My husband and i have a two children who are 4 and 6. Since having my son, we have not used any form of birth control.

We finally decided to go see my obgyn for infertility. Within a month of the consult, i had a chemical pregnancy. Now they wont refer us to an RE because they said we are able to conceive. As it turns out, our insurance does not cover a dime of infertility. It is extremely hard for us to BD because he works third shift and our little boy hasnt started school yet. Im considering at home insemination. Has anyone here had success with using their husband as the donor?

I don't have any insurance coverage for IF either.  It sucks.

http://www.fertilityplus.org/faq/homeinsem.html  I found this link, it has a lot of information.

I haven't done an in-home insemination personally, but it could work.  You would need to figure out a way to keep the sperm fresh until you could get to it.
