I'm about to take a test at 6 dpo. I know it's probably too early but oh well... I can't help myself. lol. I just bought 5 tests - a 2 pack of Answer tests and a 3 pack of FRER's. Right now, I'm gonna test with a FRER... if it's BFN, I will test again in the morning. If that one is BFN,  I will wait until Sunday morning to test again. And if THAT one is a BFN, I will wait and test again on the 1st of June since that is when AF is due!

How early do YOU start POAS? lol

*Okay... BFN. But I expected that. I'm only 6 dpo and it wasn't even fmu. I just couldn't stop myself. lol

**Okay... tested again this morning with fmu (7dpo)... bfn. Not testing again til Sunday morning!

I've been able to "train" myself, if you will, to wait until 2 days before AF at the earliest!! I don't like putting myself thru the sadness of a BFN so early lol

I think the earliest that I used to test was 9 or 10 dpo, It would be awesome if yours is pos this early but that is real early! I just did my first IUI last week exactly today and with all the meds your put on you have to wait 15 days so I cant test till june 1st! however I did test at 5dpiui just to see if the trigger shot was still in my system and it was, will be nice to see a true positive and hopefully very soon!

No problem it stands for Intrauterine Insemination, they give you usually a fertility med to help stimulate your eggs to grow, they do an ultrasound to check them once they reach a mature size they give you a shot to force ovulation and then you go in either 24 or 36 hrs after the shot and they insert a catheter with sperm in it either your husbands or a donor. They have a process of washing the sperm so you get the best of the best up close to the egg so it helps you have a better chance of concieving when you have feritlity issues. Im on 4 years and 3 months of TTC my first baby so we finally decided to move forward with this step!

Good luck! I will be having my second IUI at the end of the month! Did they put you on clomid?

I hope your second one is a big success!! and Nope actually they put me on femara days 3-7 (5mgs each day.) I was on clomid last year for 6 cycles my 2nd one resulted in a pregnancy but misscarried at almost 7 weeks so I waited a couple months and then went on clomid for the last 4 cycles and nothing. The specialist felt that femara would be a better choice for me since I already tried clomid which gave me horrible side effects!
